what version are you using? while still kicking around on a windows system, i used v7 from time to time... 8 moved to a photoshop clone however, and there just wasnt any point that i needed two of the same program. i enjoyed 7 somewhat because of its simplicity and ease of use.

scratch what i said... i got my versions criss crossed. its v8 that was the last i used... 9 is the photoshop clone. v6 through 8 had the same basic interface where if you were familiar with the program, you could function easily. 9 is a completely new world and they aimed the program at more of the vector and print crowd.

99.999% of them have both, or just adobe products. nobody runs with quark alone... even still, rule of thumb is to present the printer with media containing several file formats of the same file. that way you are covered.

well.. i cant really dog quark. its a decent program.. i just despise the layout and way they piece it together. i can move fluidly within adobe products as they are all structured about the same. its whatever works best for you.
