Well, I went for my CDL License training last week, its a 2 week course, and today I went for my test. After spending 5 hours out in the sun (yes, im sunburnt) I got my CDL License!
Yay me !!!!!!!!!
This means, I can now drive the following vehicles:

wow, pretty sweet man, can you get good paying gigs as a trucker? A buddy of mine worked for Budweiser for a long time as a helper delivering on the trucks, he decided to get his CDL to drive and make more money, didnt take much for him to pass though, all the years watching, once he got the hands on operating the rig, he was good.

Im hoping to work for Coke or Pepsi, as they offer $3500 sign-on bonus right now and pay $18 an hour to start, plus commission, plus overtime. Whereas as a dump truck driver, I make $10-15/hr but they work 60-70 hours a week, and when it snows, your pay is 3x due to the conditions (waiting on the side of the road all night).
So yeah, it can pay pretty good. Whats important is that I will never be stuck in an office again.
OH, as for passing the test, I should post up the criteria for the outside inspection, in-cab inspection, and air brake test. Its easy if you know it, hard if you have never been around trucks all your life. And you have to double clutch these damn things....
